Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator Awards!
Each year our PTSA gives the Golden Acorn Award and Outstanding Educator Award to volunteers and teachers who have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our community. This is an excellent way to honor those volunteers and educators who always go the extra mile. Recipients receive a hand painted gold pin, a special certificate, and the Northwood PTSA contributes $70.00 in the person’s name to the Washington State PTA Financial Grant Foundation. In addition, recipients are honored at the Kent Area Council PTA Founder’s Day Dinner!
